Her story
Lina began her career as a salesperson with Body Shop, the Jacksonville-based women's clothing retailer that would later become Body Central. As the company grew, she grew with it—moving through increasingly responsible leadership roles and ultimately becoming a Regional Manager overseeing approximately 50–60 stores.
Headquartered on Powers Avenue, Body Shop grew from its Jacksonville roots into Body Central, a national retailer with nearly 300 locations across 28 states and more than $300 million in annual revenue at its height. Lina was part of that remarkable journey, helping translate the founders' vision into day-to-day leadership across a broad retail region.
Her connection to the company was personal as well as professional. Lina shared a close relationship with the Rosenbaum family, who founded the business, and carried a deep understanding of the culture they built.
After the founding family sold control and the company entered a new corporate era, its direction changed. Body Central ultimately closed, but the people, lessons, and leadership experience from that chapter continue to define Lina's story.
Career journey
Rather than a résumé defined by dates, Lina's journey is best understood through the trust, scale, and responsibility she earned along the way.
Lina learned retail from the ground up and rose with the company, eventually guiding approximately 50–60 stores. Her story is inseparable from Body Central's transformation from a Jacksonville business into a national fashion retailer.
Lina later brought her extensive retail background to Victoria's Secret, leading a store and its team within one of the country's most recognized specialty retail brands.
She continued her leadership career at Target as an Executive Team Leader in Specialty Sales, applying decades of hands-on retail experience in a fast-moving, guest-focused environment.
